Love the drawing and the different approach you took from everyone else for this assignment.

I love how you interpreted your adjectives Jesse. I think this is such a sweet picture of adolescence but at the same time it has an underlying egde. And of course your skillz at drawing are simply amazing!

      The children definitely look tired.

Also, if I’m not mistaken in seeing little trains in their mouths, I think that’s a nifty, subtle way to represent shrillness.

    5. belita says:

The expression on the faces of the children is very touching. I truly admire the way you can render the figure in this medium.

Dude. Awesome. You definitely did an amazing job at showing your adjectives and your technical skill is ballin’.

I would have really struggled capturing shrill and tired in the same picture, but you thought of a creative solution and executed it beautifully

I would like to see you take advantage of more effects that are unique to digital media. This looks like it wants to be an oil pastel drawing.

the overlay of yellow line gives the work a softer touch adding to the “tired” quality of the total visual experience. I think stretching the use of various media and computer effects will enhance the depth of your picture plane and give you some new ways to expand your talented abilities!

You really told a story with your piece. I found myself trying to figure out who these kids were, and what they looked so “tired” for. I am extremely impressed at your drawing skills on the computer, I can barely keep my hand steady enough to draw that well on paper. Anyways good job
